How do I set a profile picture? was created by jamesgamble
I think I may be blind, but I see other folks with profile pictures and I would like to set one for myself. How can I do that?

We're currently using
Gravatar
for those, unfortunately that disables the ability to upload a different one here. This could definitely be switched to local, uploadable avatars.

I think that it would be nice to have local avatars instead of relying on a third party service. Plus, I can see the scenario where folks wouldn't want to have their Gravatar profile associated with Cyberarmy for privacy reasons.

I was starting to think the same (reasoning) after your first post. I'll be making the switch to local avatars (or Profile Photo, whichever it will be called).

Nope, that's long been disabled. You can set an avatar in your forum profile. There's a few available from the gallery or upload your own.
